Dr. Barbara Kohlfeld is a person who needs no introduction in Cape Girardeau. The career-long educator has dedicated her life to creating bright futures for children. It’s why the Blanchard Elementary principal was the District’s top award-winner at its 2022 employee appreciation event, also called CT Oscars Night.
Kohlfeld was awarded the Gerald E. Richards Making a Difference Award. The award is presented each year to an employee who has shown unwavering commitment to the advancement of students.
